In a significant environmental milestone, Terminal Puerto Arica (TPA) proudly announces that during 2023, a staggering 88% of its total energy consumption was sourced from renewable sources, amounting to 1,202,488 KWh.

Despite a total electricity consumption of 1,365,456 KWh across its administrative building and terminal operations, TPA seamlessly integrated renewable energy solutions, provided by Cinergia Chile, to cover 1,202,488 KWh of terminal usage. This impressive shift represents an 88% reduction in overall electricity consumption, with only 162,968 KWh allocated to the administrative building.

By embracing renewable energy, TPA not only significantly decreases CO2eq emissions but also reinforces its positive impact on the city's environmental footprint, aligning with the company's mission to operate beyond regulatory standards.
