In a significant step towards achieving the strategic objectives set by the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Sirte Oil has successfully elevated its production rates and reinforced the national power grid by increasing the supply of natural gas. These advancements come as part of Sirte Oil's ongoing commitment to enhancing its operational efficiency and supporting Libya's energy sector.

Recently, Sirte Oil completed the crucial task of connecting all oil and gas transmission lines to the wells, seamlessly integrating them into the production system across all its fields and sites. This integration ensures a more efficient flow of resources, significantly boosting the company's overall output.

One of the notable achievements includes the successful collection of flared gas from the "Hatiba" field. This gas has been efficiently redirected through a 16-inch condensate pipeline to the Brega terminal. In addition, the company has managed to consolidate production from four wells in the “Rashad” field, directing it to the Independence field.

This initiative resulted in a 40 million cubic foot increase in gas, which is now generating 80 megawatts of electricity at power generation stations, significantly enhancing the country's energy capacity by contributing this power to the national grid.

Sirte Oil is also leading the way in digital transformation within the Libyan energy sector, being the first company under the NOC to implement digitalization across its operations. This move has allowed Sirte Oil to optimize its processes, enabling faster achievement of targets and cementing its position as a pioneer in the integration of technology within the oil and gas industry.

These recent developments mark a substantial milestone for Sirte Oil, reflecting its role in bolstering Libya's energy security while supporting sustainable growth for the nation's economy.
