The National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Manufacturing Company are working together to increase the company's daily oil production to 120,000 barrels. During a meeting on Thursday, they discussed the progress made this year and potential projects to reach this new target as soon as possible.

The meeting included directors from NOC, Sirte Company’s management team, and representatives from Al-Jawf, Libya Technology, Construction, and the Research Center companies.

Sirte Company, founded in 1981 and based in Marsa Al-Brega, currently produces about 86,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The aim is to boost this to 120,000 barrels per day.

Recently, the NOC announced that Libya’s total daily production of crude oil, condensates, and natural gas is 1,543,603 barrels. This includes 1,267,706 barrels of crude oil, 51,435 barrels of condensates, and 224,462 barrels of natural gas.

This initiative shows the commitment of the NOC and Sirte Company to enhance Libya's oil production capacity.
