The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Wednesday that technical teams from the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) have successfully restored well C-335 at the Sarir oilfield to production. This significant achievement adds 2,500 barrels of crude oil per day to the field's output, following effective maintenance operations.

The NOC commended the efforts of the technical teams, highlighting that this accomplishment aligns with its strategic goal to boost production rates. The restored production capacity at the Sarir field is a critical step in enhancing the overall output of Libya’s oil sector.

In a related development, AGOCO reported in late May the successful reactivation of gas units at the Nafoura field after a 13-year hiatus, further contributing to increased production capacity. This continued progress demonstrates NOC's commitment to maximizing the efficiency and productivity of its oil and gas operations.
