Minister Jinapor: AOW:Energy Will Define Africa’s Energy Future

Ghana’s Minister of Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has affirmed that AOW:Energy 2025 positions Ghana as a regional hub for dialogue, investment, and cross-border collaboration in the energy sector.

Speaking in Accra, Jinapor described AOW as a catalyst for growth and security, stressing that the platform belongs to the continent and must remain “a place where deals are made and Africa’s industry is celebrated with pride.”


The Minister praised the contributions of leading energy partners, including ExxonMobil, Chevron, ENI, Seplat, FIRST E&P, Oando, and TGS, for their commitment to Africa’s upstream development.


With more than 1,200 delegates in attendance, AOW has been hailed as a landmark moment in Africa’s energy journey. Jinapor thanked Ghana’s President, ministers, dignitaries, and corporate partners for ensuring the success of this year’s event.
