Waha Oil Company met with the Libya National Oil Corporation (NOC) to review the company’s exploration activities and discuss the necessary budgets for 2025. The meeting focused on evaluating the results of Waha’s 2023 exploration efforts, including exploratory drilling and seismic surveys across its blocks and concessions.
Discussions highlighted the seismic survey programs for Blocks 12 and 13, as well as the reprocessing of seismic data for Block 31, M N 59, and other areas. Proposals for new studies covering all areas under Waha's management were also presented.
The meeting took place at NOC headquarters in Tripoli, with the attendance of Waha Oil and NOC exploration department leaders, engineers, and technical specialists. Representatives from Waha's foreign partners, Total and ConocoPhillips, participated via video conference to discuss their role in the upcoming programs.
