Engineer Masoud Suleiman, Acting Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), held a strategic meeting this morning at the NOC headquarters in Tripoli. The meeting was attended by directors of key departments, including production, maintenance engineering, reserves development, and drilling, along with managers of operations, petroleum engineering, reservoirs, and maintenance from NOC-affiliated companies.
The discussions focused on assessing the challenges and obstacles faced by oil fields, production facilities, and ports during the implementation of the 2024 work plan. A comprehensive evaluation of the past year’s performance was presented.
The meeting also outlined the primary objectives of the 2025 work plan, with strategies to overcome last year's challenges. The goal is to achieve higher productivity levels and reach the targets set for the current year.
Engineer Masoud emphasized the importance of maintaining the same level of dedication and spirit demonstrated by NOC employees throughout 2024, which led to remarkable achievements that exceeded expectations. He urged relevant authorities to ensure the availability of financial resources necessary for meeting the 2025 goals.
Furthermore, he highlighted the need to prioritize employee well-being, adhere to the highest safety standards, reduce emissions, and adopt advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and save time and effort.
