AOW:Energy 2025 opened with a high-level gala at the Presidency of Ghana, bringing together over 450 government, industry, and investment leaders.
Hosted in collaboration with ExxonMobil and GNPC Ghana, the event marked a “new dawn of partnership” according to Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, who emphasized Ghana’s commitment to using natural resources as a catalyst for prosperity and regional growth.
ExxonMobil’s senior leadership reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to Africa, highlighting its role in exploration, production growth, and local partnerships.
The evening also celebrated GNPC’s 40th Anniversary, recognizing its four decades of leadership in advancing Ghana’s energy sector and contributing to national development.
Paul Sinclair, CEO of AOW:Energy, described the evening as a symbol of partnership, progress, and prosperity, reinforcing AOW’s position as Africa’s most influential upstream investment platform.
