Zallaf Libya Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company announced its ambitious target to achieve a production rate of 15,000 barrels per day by the end of 2024. This was revealed during a meeting held on Sunday with the National Oil Corporation (NOC), where the company reviewed its performance for 2024 and outlined its goals and programs for 2025.

During the meeting, Zallaf Libya presented its strategic projects aimed at enhancing production capacity, which is anticipated to hit 15,000 barrels per day by December 2024. The discussion also included long-term projections for oil and gas production, both associated and non-associated, over the next decade.

Key stakeholders attended the meeting, including directors from the NOC’s technical departments, members of Zallaf Libya's management committee, and representatives from Al-Jowf Oil Technology Company, Libya Technology Company, the National Drilling Company, and the National Construction Company.

The increase in production is part of Zallaf Libya's broader strategy to contribute to the growth of the Libyan oil and gas sector. The company’s focus on sustainable development and efficient resource management aligns with the country’s vision to enhance energy output and secure its position in the global energy market.

The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration among Libyan companies to achieve these targets and strengthen the nation's oil and gas industry, which is vital for the country’s economic stability and growth.
