The Chairman and Board members of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) held a meeting today, Sunday, to review the final preparations for the upcoming general bidding round aimed at enhancing production capacity and opening new areas for exploration.

During the meeting, the assigned preparation team presented a detailed update on the progress of the bidding program, highlighting the ongoing preparations for the official announcement of the round in the near future.

This bidding round is part of the NOC’s strategy to increase production and allocate new exploration zones. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman and Board members commended the efforts of the preparation team for their crucial role in accomplishing this significant task.

The meeting was attended by the NOC’s Board members, relevant department directors, several Board advisors, and members of the expert team responsible for implementing the bidding program, emphasizing the corporation's commitment to boosting the country’s oil sector productivity.
