The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that Harouge Oil Operations successfully increased production at the Farigh field to 1,600 barrels per day (bpd). This achievement is part of an ongoing strategy to enhance production rates across NOC's operations.
In a recent post on its Facebook page, NOC highlighted the efforts of the Petroleum Engineering Department at Harouge Oil Operations. The department successfully raised production from the AA-10 well in the Farigh field, located in the Amal concession, from an initial 250 bpd to 1,600 bpd. This significant increase is expected to rise further upon the completion of all necessary work on the well.
NOC management praised the Harouge team for their dedication and hard work, which have been instrumental in achieving this milestone. The increase in production at the Farigh field reflects NOC's commitment to optimizing resource extraction and boosting overall production capacity.
